We’ve got some great new games to showcase, and a few that didn’t get the spotlight when they came in because we’ve been so busy!
Castles of Caladale
Bryan had a chance to play this at GAMA and it’s a great, lighter game that makes for a terrific gateway.
In a forgotten time when magic could move mountains, the Kingdom of Caladale was home to people of all kinds, living in castles of unimaginable beauty — but on one fateful night, an ancient spell of great power was cast by one unable to control it. By daybreak all of the castles were destroyed, their walls and towers torn apart, twisted together and scattered across the land.
The people of Caladale must now rebuild, competing for walls and towers from the broken and twisted remains of each other’s homes to rebuild their castles and reclaim the glory of Caladale!
In Castles of Caladale, players lay tiles to construct beautiful castles and rebuild the kingdom. Building the most complete and largest castle earns a player glory throughout the land!
Warhammer 40,000 Talons of the Emperor
The storm continues to gather with dreadful pace. A rising tide of Chaos darkens the door of the Imperium, threatening to consume the entire galaxy. In this time of desperation, the High Lords of Terra see fit to unleash their most potent weapons against the encroaching darkness – the Adeptus Custodes, superhuman champions of the Imperium descended from the Emperor himself; and the Sisters of Silence, psychic nulls whose mere presence is like a gaping void of nothingness driving back the Daemonic fiends.
Talons of the Emperor is a box containing a collection of Adeptus Custodes and Sisters of Silence miniatures, along with two 24-page softback Codexes featuring rules for fielding them in games of Warhammer 40,000.

Lord of the Rings LCG: Race Across Harad
Race Across Harad is the second Adventure Pack in the Haradrim cycle for The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game. After a small band of Middle-earth’s greatest heroes capture and tame some oliphaunts to help carry them out of Harad, the new scenario in Race Across Harad pits them against the pack of wargs and their riders who arrive hard upon their heels. Even while their towering oliphaunts may give the heroes an early advantage, the heroes know they cannot ignore the warg-riders and their barbed arrows. Instead, their only hope is to quicken their pace and ride for the Ford of Harnen where their massive oliphaunts might be able to crash through waters too deep for the wargs to cross…
Meanwhile, even as the scenario from Race Across Harad brings this frantic chase to life, it enhances your deck-building options with a new Dúnedain hero, plus three copies each of nine different player cards. These enhance a wide range of the game’s existing keywords, Traits, and mechanics. You’ll find support for everything from Mounts to side quests and from the Doomed keyword to the cycle’s new focus on events that offer powerful rewards when you can target specific pairs of Traits.
Star Wars Destiny Starter Sets – Back in Stock!
Star Wars: Destiny is a collectible dice and card game of battles between iconic heroes and villains that encompasses characters, locations, and themes from the entire Star Wars saga.
In Star Wars: Destiny, two players engage in a fast-paced duel, each striving to eliminate the other’s characters first. The game’s innovative mechanisms combine dice-driven combat with faction-driven hand management. Straightforward rules make the game easy to learn, but also enable deep strategic thinking and clever deck-building. Players can create decks that include characters from every faction and any era, as long as heroes and villains are on opposite sides of the fight. For example, Padmé Amidala might fight alongside Rey and Finn, taking on Jabba the Hutt, Kylo Ren, and Jango Fett.
Each round, you use your characters’ abilities, an assortment of dice, and a carefully constructed thirty-card deck filled with events, upgrades, and supports. You and your opponent alternate actions: activating your dice, playing cards from your hand, attacking your foes, and claiming the battlefield. You need to prove your skills and defeat your opponent’s characters to claim your destiny!
