Ticket to Ride: Germany

Ticket to Ride: Germany is a standalone game in the Ticket to Ride series. Over the course of the game, players collect cards in order to then claim routes on the game board between two cities. Ideally the players create a network of routes that connect the cities showing on their secret ticket cards. Players score points both for claiming routes and for completing tickets, with incomplete tickets counting against a player’s score.

In addition to scoring points for tickets, whenever a player places a route on the board, they claim a passenger from the two cities that form the endpoints for that route (assuming that the passengers have not already been claimed). At the end of the game, whoever has the most passengers of each of the six colors scores 20 points for that color; whoever has the second most passengers in a color scores 10 points. Whoever has the most points at the end of the game wins.

Ticket to Ride: Germany is effectively a remake of Ticket to Ride: Märklin, removing the Märklin model train branding and adding a few component updates and changing the passenger system. Specifically, you don’t have stacks of tokens at the various cities like in Märklin. Instead, you have meeples, and as you complete routes you get to claim passengers for points.

Mysterium: Secrets & Lies

Mysterium: Secrets & Lies consists of six new characters, six new locations, six new items, and 18 story cards. This latter group of cards can replace the object cards in the game, with each card representing one way in which the ghost died. Now instead of trying to get each investigator to identify an object — a singular item that wouldn’t have much nuance to it — the ghost must instead use the dream cards to convey the story of their demise, something far more challenging.

Star Wars Force and Destiny: Ghosts of Dathomir

The dark side is calling you in Ghosts of Dathomir. When a mysterious and powerful artifact suddenly surfaces on Toydaria, you embark on a journey into the lawless Outer Rim. Along the way you’ll enter negotiations with a ruthless Hutt kajidic, experience relentless Force visions, and discover some of the darkest secrets of the galaxy.

This 96-page, beautifully illustrated book introduces locations throughout the Star Wars galaxy, a new and mysterious Force power, and many adversaries including Toydarian merchants, ruthless mercenaries, Hutt crime lords, and powerful wielders of the dark side of the Force. Designed to be used with the Force and Destiny roleplaying game, Ghosts of Dathomir can also easily be integrated into an Age of Rebellion or Edge of the Empire campaign.
