Comanauts

Dr. Martin Strobal, the greatest mind of our generation, lies in a coma. His Mobius Ring invention promised to change the world, but has instead given us our greatest disaster. Meant to provide the world with unlimited clean energy, the Mobius Ring malfunctioned, bathing Dr. Strobal in radiation, and creating a singularity that threatens to consume the world. We need him back, and the only way to revive him from his coma is to enter his subconscious and free him from the demons found within.

Comanauts is the second installment in Jerry Hawthorne’s Adventure Book system following Stuffed Fables. This game of exploration and danger builds on the mechanisms first introduced in that earlier title, providing a new experience for more mature players. Race against time to revive Dr. Strobal by exploring his tormented mind. As players work together to uncover the secrets of the doctor’s subconscious, they will follow his inner child across eleven different Comazones. There they attempt to locate and overcome the Inner Demon that holds Dr. Strobal hostage. Assume the role of 22 unique avatars as you explore the dangers and secrets of each world locked inside the doctor’s dream. Can you free Dr. Strobal from his own mind before it’s too late?

Munchkin Unicorns and Friends

Everyone loves unicorns! A Munchkin expansion featuring these majestic animals was long overdue. They mixed in some other ideas they had (More undead! Cows! Wait, cows? Yes, COWS!). Thanks to fan requests, they’ve also included Boxes of Holding, for storing these cards along with your favorite Munchkin games, and a Kill-O-Meter combat tracker so players can figure out just how badly they’re beating the monsters. Munchkin Unicorns and Friends is an expansion for any Munchkin game.

Cosmic Factory – Local Game Designer!

Once titled Kaosmos, Cosmic Factory is a speedy game of tile placement. Through five game rounds, each player tries to build and optimize their personal nine-tile galaxy in a limited time. You must rearrange your planets into different zones while trying to keep your asteroid path as long as possible. Kaos cards challenge each player to adapt to a new rule each round. At the end of the game, your weakest zone score is added to your asteroid path score to determine the winner. Designed by Kane Klenko!

Woodlands

Woodlands transports you to the wonderful world of legends and fairy tales, with four different stories of increasing difficulty. Each story consists of several chapters, with each chapter showing a plastic overlay that features various collectibles, obstacles, and that chapter’s goal. Each player then builds their own network of pathways on their personal playing board to beat the chapter and score as many points as possible. Once players are satisfied with what they’ve built, the overlay is placed on top of each player’s pathways to check which goals they’ve met.

Two additional overlays may be used to increase the difficulty of any chapter — and to increase the difficulty further, players may use the back side of their path tiles for a greater challenge.

Victorian Masterminds

Sherlock Holmes is dead! And with London’s greatest detective out of the way, those with villainous minds decide to wreak as much terror as possible on the populace — and you are one of those dastardly no-goodniks!

While Europe sits unprotected in Victorian Masterminds, you and other players send your henchmen to different cities to use their varied abilities, collect material for your steampunk-inspired contraptions, destroy buildings, and complete missions. At the same time, the Secret Service follows your path of destruction. Every contraption is unique and allows you to take different actions, leading to highly strategic, asymmetric gameplay.

In more detail, during the game, players take turns placing one of their five agent tokens — Henchman, Machine, Saboteur, Pilot, Number 2 — face down on one of the five action spaces. As soon as three tokens are on a space, those tokens are flipped and activated, first in first out, with each agent carrying out its individual action in addition to whatever takes place in that space. When an evil mastermind completes their contraption or the Secret Service brings this villainy to a halt, the game ends, and whoever has generated the most victory points wins.

Aeon’s End: Legacy

Aeon’s End: Legacy is the first legacy cooperative deckbuilding game. Aeon’s End: Legacy is a full campaign, where you’ll build your character over multiple games. Use them to fight off increasingly powerful nemeses in order to defend Grave hold, the last bastion of humanity. At the end of each game, you will choose new upgrades for your character and more powerful player cards to add to the market. At the end of the campaign, you’ll have unique characters, new nemeses, and new player cards that you can play with forever and add to all the other Aeon’s End content released. Aeon’s End: Legacy is unlike other legacy games — it is a full campaign, a stand-alone game, and an expansion.
Aeon’s End is not required to play Aeon’s End: Legacy.

Blossoms

In Blossoms (original title Kwiatki), players compete to create the most beautiful flower bouquet. The longer the flowers, the higher they score!

To set up, give each player two random face-down cards and three action tokens. Place the flower pots in the center of the playing area with space above them for the growing flowers. Place four different flower cards, one in each pot. Take one card from the draw pile and place it aside face-down.

Players alternate taking turns, trying to make the most valuable combination of flowers possible. On their turn, a player can conduct any number of actions, which are:

  • Growth — Draw one card from the deck and place it in any pot that has the same flower type.
  • Cut — Cut down one pot of flowers to score points; this ends your round.
  • Special — Use your action tokens to perform one extra action depending on which pot you choose.

A player’s turn ends when they decide to cut flowers, pass, or when they have BAD LUCK. The game ends when the last card from the deck is drawn. Points are then scored by the size and diversity of sets you have planted. Whoever has the higher score wins!
