Concordia Venus (Expansion or Standalone Game)

OK this one is a little tricky, so let’s talk about the expansion first! The Concordia Venus Expansion adds on to your existing Concordia set. It includes new personality cards with the goddess Venus allowing for new strategies, two maps (Hellas/Ionium) on which to play (using components from the Concordia base game in addition to new cards), and rules that enable teams of two players to play against one another.

The Concordia Venus Standalone Game contains all of the stuff in the expansion (including the Hellas/Ionium map), but also adds all of the core Concordia components to the game, giving you a complete Concordia game, plus the expansion. However, there is one difference. The Imperium/Italy map from the original game has been replaced with a map of the Imperium on one side (same as the original), and a brand new Cyprus map on the other (replacing the Italy map). That Cyprus map is currently only available in this new box, BUT it will be available again in an upcoming expansion. Note that it does not include any other expansion materials such as the Salsa expansion.

So, if you already own Concordia, there is no need to pick up the new standalone game, unless you can’t wait for that map and want extras of your core resources and cards! If you do not yet own Concordia, this is an excellent way to get started with one of our favorite games!

Got all that?!?

One Week Ultimate Werewolf

One Week Ultimate Werewolf takes the gameplay of One Night Ultimate Werewolf and twists it up in a knot, with ever-increasing tension as you venture into the special rooms of Ludwig Castle. Each room provides a special power, and those powers are the key to figuring out the mystery of who among you is a werewolf. Roles can be viewed and switched several times before all is said and done, then the final vote takes place.

As in One Night Ultimate Werewolf, your goal is to figure out the secret roles of your opponents as well as your own role by the end of the game. Each day, you enter a different room with a unique ability, and each night you interact with the other players in that room. In addition to the 3-7 players, three staff members roam the castle, and each of them also has a secret role. After a week’s investigation (which should take about 45 minutes), it all comes down to a vote. If you’re a werewolf, you’re trying to remain undiscovered. If you’re a villager, you’re trying to find those sneaky werewolves. And if you’re a Tanner, well, you’re trying to get caught!

One Week Ultimate Werewolf comes with more than a dozen unique rooms. You play with just a few each game, making each game different.
