In addition to the piles of WizKids pre-primed minis that are finally back in production (however, no more Beholders or Owlbears have arrived yet), we have some great new titles and hot reprints!

Shadows in the Forest

You are deep in a dark, ancient forest with only your lantern to guide you. Tall, looming trees cast shadows all around. Off in the distance you hear a faint rustling sound and your heart begins to race. Could the legend be true? Will you finally discover the creatures who hide in the forest shadows?

Shadows in the Forest is a thrilling, immersive play experience that brings a distinctive twist to game night – you play it in the dark! One player moves the LED lantern around in search of Shadowlings, mysterious creatures who avoid the light. The lantern illuminates the forest and trees, casting real shadows on the game board. The rest of the players work together, strategically moving their Shadowlings to stay out of the light in this innovative board game for kids and families.

Pikoko

Strut your tail feathers in this clever game of gambling and reading the room. Pikoko is a trick-taking card game for serious and casual gamers, featuring a 3-dimensional peacock which holds your cards so that you are the only player who CANNOT see them.

Each round, 8 cards are dealt to each player and placed in their peacocks, however, the players can’t see their own cards, only the cards of their opponents. Players must then bet on who will take how many tricks this hand (based on the cards they CAN see).

Parade – Back in Print!

The characters of Alice in Wonderland are having a Parade! On your turn, you play a card (from your hand of five) to the end of the parade. Unfortunately, that card might cause other cards to walk off the parade. These cards count as negative points in the end. The length of parade line is important. If the number of the card you just played is less than the line length, you may receive the excess cards (counting from last played to the first of the line). But you do not take all cards, only the cards that meet one of these requirements:

1. color is the same as just played, or
2. number is the same or lower than just played

The game ends when the draw deck is exhausted or when one player has collected all six colors in their point piles. Then everyone plays one last card. From the four cards remaining in their hand, players choose two cards to add to his or her point piles. The player who has the least negative points after this is the winner.

Arkham Horror: The Card Game – The City of Archives

This item was actually in stock yesterday but we never had a chance to highlight it! The City of Archives is the fourth Mythos Pack in The Forgotten Age cycle for Arkham Horror: The Card Game. Strange creatures that cannot be of this world have seemingly lived beneath the shell of the Earth for centuries. They are horrifying to look upon, but are they dangerous? Now within their domain, it may be best to go along with whatever they want, but how much can you trust them, and what might your naïveté cost you? This Mythos Pack features a new mechanic that makes playing this scenario an out-of-body experience, as well as new player cards to customize your investigators’ decks.
